Annual Contribution Amount

How much you plan to contribute each year. To maximize CESG, contribute at least $2,500 annually.

Age to Stop Contributing

The age when you plan to stop making contributions. This is also the final year shown in calculations and projections. Maximum age for contributions is 31 years.

Government Benefits Help

Additional CESG

Families with lower income may be eligible for additional CESG: 20% on first $500 (income under $53,359) or 10% (income $53,359-$106,717).

Canada Learning Bond (CLB)

$500 initial payment plus $100 annually until age 15 for eligible low-income families. No contributions required.

Provincial Grants

BC Training Grant: $1,200 one-time for children 6-9. Quebec QESI: Up to 10% of contributions, max $3,600 lifetime.
